Don’t spend major time with minor people.

Drew’s Reminder,

I listened to an interview of Dr. George Fraser on Wealth, Purpose and Entrepreneurship.   There was a lot of great advice that I’ll probably share on other reminders but here’s the one for today.

Don’t spend major time with minor people.”   This may sound harsh but if your circle of friends aren’t ambitious and aren’t really doing anything with their lives, chances are you are doing the same.  None of us can do it all alone.  Therefore you need to surround yourself with people who can help you if you really want to achieve your dreams.   Dr. Fraser also said people will do one of four things (add, subtract, multiply or divide).  If your friends are subtracting from your life then they will divide what you have.  If they are adding to your life they will multiply what you have.  Take an inventory of the people you spend time with and ask yourself if they are the right people to add good content to your life experiences.  If they aren’t I’m not telling you to leave them alone.  If you truly want to achieve your dreams you’ll know what you need to do.

With gratitude,

Drew
